hi,

yes - I know that Notes 8 is not supported on Linux ubuntu.
The Problem seems not to be from IBM but more a Eclipse Problem. I found a Bug description here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eclipse/+bug/109669

I think that it is not helpfully if you point out that Notes 8 is not supported for different Linux plattforms like ubuntu.
Notes 8 is based on Elcipse. And Eclipse is a great open source platform which supports a lot of different operating systems.
We all should search for the bondings between Notes8 and Eclipse to solve such problems.
I know that Notes8 is not open source but its now build on an open source plattform.
